Volunteering can be a wonderful way to restore hope for ourselves and for others. At a time when much of what is happening in the world feels outside of our control, we can lean in to the small acts that make a big difference.
Chicago Cultural Performing Arts and Media Alliance (CCPAMA) is fortunate to rely on the dedication of many volunteers. According to their preferences, skills, and interests, our volunteers’ efforts are the main ingredient for the success of our activities.
Volunteer’s involvement is essential to the success of our mission.
Since our self-help/peer support, outreach/awareness-raising, information and fundraising initiatives take place throughout the year, we can offer volunteers both short and long term opportunities.
We encourage you to become a volunteer with CCPAMA thus contributing to enriching the lives of people in low income, violence and high crime areas.
From region to region, many volunteer opportunities are available throughout the year to meet a variety of needs and interests.
The outreach coordinator at CCPAMA promotes the mission of the organization among the local community. They might organize events, recruit volunteers, or arrange other projects to get the community excited about and invested in the organization.
The development might attend to fundraising planning, securing financial support, creating special events for donors, and running other projects to ensure the organization meets its annual goals.
The Grant Writer works with the development director, completing applications for funding (typically applications to foundations, the government, or a trust) to make sure CCPAMA achieves its annual financial goals.
We are in dire need of experts in organizing and executing office duties, interacting with the clients, and attending to the everyday operation of the organization.
